THE MONOPOLY & how it effects you!
Up until now you had 'Black Cabs' with their 'on demand' facility servicing London and its portes, the local mini cabs supplying cheap services on a pre-booked basis and the executive chauffeur service supporting the business sector in the city and central London and we have all been working within our boundaries.
Slowly but surely competition is being eradicated; a monopoly is forming just like a black fog spreading everywhere. Black cabs are threatened, the mini cab sector is being targeted and the chauffeur service is, well prospering! How? It’s simple!
The monopoly is squeezing the market so much with its price fixing, surcharges, subsidies etc. You only have to sneeze and you’re charged! It has the feel of our favorite cheap 'bucket seat' airline where you have to pay for every single extra, even going to the loo!
Our monopoly is doing the same; you cannot talk to a human unless your monthly spend over a certain amount. You even get charged for that too!
The independents that are still in business are standing firm, we insist on offering a superior service, we insist on giving quality as part of our service, we insist our drivers are properly attired and have an excellent knowledge of their city and they have a good command of our language.
Support the independent company and you will be treated like a customer.
BREAKING THE LAW. Is your driver driving legally & are you being used to make a legal crusade?
In the current news is a story full of controversy when it comes to Black cabs v Mini cabs and chauffeur hire. One of the larger mini cab company's are asking their drivers to break the law whilst carrying passengers. This has been documented and filmed by the BBC.
The use of bus lanes by PCO licensed cars is illegal and contravenes the PCO licensing rules but certain companies are instructing drivers to break the law.
The prime location for this abuse of the law is on the last section of the M4, London bound approaching the elevated section.
If you are in a car breaking the law and its stopped by the police or VOSA, (I have now witnessed 4 PCO cars stopped recently) you will be held up for over 45 min's whilst the car and driver is thoroughly checked over. The police will make a point of dragging the process out and you will be the unwitting victim in all this.
This is an ego trip on behalf of these companies. It is just away of certain greedy people trying to manipulate the market place.
In short, if you want to be treated like humans and not guinea pigs, have the respect as a customer and not be charged for every incidental, then fill out our enquiry form and let us make your life more acceptable, at least whilst your are in our hands. SEE OUR FLEET
